Scaevola or Fan flowerScaevola or Fan flower is native to Australia. This annual came to the US about five years ago, and is slowly becoming a popular addition to hanging baskets and flower gardens. This blue flower grows six to eight inches in height, but will spread up to two feet. Use it as a border or low edging plant in the ground. It is fast growing and resistant to most insect and disease problems. While it thrives in the sun and heat, it doesn’t like to get too dry, or it will quit flowering. likes warm weather and warm soil.
