  I have searched for information from various areas on beer seed. When I was a teenager during the 'Depression' of the 30's, one of our neighbors gave mother some beer seed. She taught mother to use them to make a non-alcoholic drink and to make vinegar. The vinegar was used for pickeling and canning. Are beer seed made or grown? Are they the seed of the hop vine?

  The only thing I know that would be considered beer seed, is hops. Hops is a vine that does grow here in Arkansas. The past few years they have stayed perennial.
