(October)
I have a "house plant" that I have had about 4 years. It was small now it is
about 4 feet tall. I was told it is called "China Doll". The first winter I kept
it in the house, it nearly died. It flourishes outdoors in the summer and really
grows. The next few winters I have kept it in the garage near a window. Can this
plant survive outdoors in southern Arkansas?
China doll is strictly a houseplant. It would not survive outdoors regardless of the protection. Mine does very well with limited care indoors. Allow it to dry out in between watering, give it bright indirect light, and it should be fine, or continue to move it to your garage.
