I recently purchased
an anthurium plant. What do I do about fertilizing it? Are there any problems I
should look for? All I know about it is that it needs light and the soil is
supposed to be kept moist.
Anthuriums thrive with high humidity and warm temperatures, which may be hard to come by indoors at this time of year. Bright indirect light is best. The colorful spathes should remain attractive for several weeks to months. Enjoy the plants indoors this winter, then move it outside for the summer, where you will have your best chance of re-blooming.
